Kevin
Masterson – Member Profile
Trumpet
The
quintet was very pleased to welcome Kevin aboard when he joined the group in 2006. He
brings with him a wealth of talent and experience from his many years
in the
local music community.
Kevin
taught music at Essex High School until his retirement and now devotes
much of
his time to music performance. He is well known for playing trumpet in
the Windsor Light Opera Pit Orchestra for the past
45 years. He also
leads a “Big Band” called Nil-A-Nova
(meaning Nothing New) performing jazz standards at dinners and dances.
Kevin
is a member of The Silver Ambassadors
as well as The Greater Windsor Concert
Band
playing traditional wind ensemble music. His experience with ensemble
playing has helped bring our group to yet another level.
